Chase back on the screens

According to sources, fans of the Chase series will get the opportunity to see their favorite show on NBC for a limited period of time. The explanation lies on a few premises of some background information the general viewer cannot know. For starters, NBC had originally planned to air a complete season of Chase, with the twenty-two adherent episodes. However, they decided in December 2010 that their needs would be better fulfilled by a season built of eighteen episodes. Unfortunately, the situation got worse when the ratings of the episode aired on the 26th of January became unveiled: the series registered a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 segment of the population, namely 4.17 million viewers. As a consequence, the network took harsh measures, removing the series from its primetime schedule.

So, according to the present situation, NBC will allow the rest of the episodes of this season of Chase on the screen for five weeks, starting with the 23rd of April (Saturday) at 8 p.m.

The series features Kelli Giddish (in the role of U.S. Marshal Annie Frost), Cole Hauser (in the role of Jimmy Godfrey), Amaury Nolasco (in the role of Marco Martinez), Rose Rollins (in the role of Daisy Ogbaa) and, recently, Jesse Metcalfe (in the role of Luke Watson).
